I assembled this alone with my drill (just needed Phillips bit no actual drilling holes, all my spots lined up fine.. I was worried seeing other reviews) my only issue is the ramp it broke off while moving the coop and reattaching was a hard reach. We did set it on paver stones I was worried about wood rotting overtime in wet winter ground. In addition to that we also added a chain run around the coop. To keep our 3 hens in this coop all the time would be mean. Too small of a open ground pecking spot for even 1 chicken...This is great for the 3 to lay eggs in and sleep in not to live in full time.
