This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. These are great lights. The adjustable feature for color temperature works very well, and the lights themselves seem to be of good quality. Like an explosion frozen in time, this is suspended chaos. Clear large crystal balls and sprays of smaller crystals swirl amidst exposed candelabra bulbs (not included). At the epicenter of the storm, a hemispherical iron backplate in a metal finish attaches to the wall or the ceiling. It arrived quickly with very good packaging. As you can see, it requires some assembling before you can put the light up. The instructions seems to be clear and detailed, so I look forward to getting this done and will update the pictures when the lighting fixture is completed!
