This is the best mattress in I have owned in over 40 years, and at one time I sold mattresses. It is a little firm at first which is great for a heavy person that needs support. It is a very thick mattress which takes you several inches higher than most mattresses. It was time to replace my 2012 queen W Bed pillow top mattress (made by Beautyrest). Tried the Black hybrid cushion top (the W replacement) but it was much taller (13" v 14.5") which I did not like for my platform bed frame. Switched to the World Class non-pillow hybrid (13"), though I really liked that cushion top and I normally find foam beds too hot so was uncertain. I admit the first couple nights I wasn't sold but by night 3 I was sleeping like a baby again and wasn't hot. Because the mattress is 1/3 foam, it is heavier than my old mattress.. David89. After months of searching, and trying several beds in a box we were so so happy to finally find a mattress that is firm enough to support, soft enough to conform, without sinking in or feeling stuck in it. Very happy with this mattress so far. Have sept on it two nights since I set it up. It is very comfortable. Just firm enough. It arrived in a torn up box during a snowstorm, but the mattress itself was well wrapped in plastic. It was VERY heavy.
