This is the best mattress in I have owned in over 40 years, and at one time I sold mattresses. It is a little firm at first which is great for a heavy person that needs support. It is a very thick mattress which takes you several inches higher than most mattresses. It was time to replace my 2012 queen W Bed pillow top mattress (made by Beautyrest). Tried the Black hybrid cushion top (the W replacement) but it was much taller (13" v 14.5") which I did not like for my platform bed frame. Switched to the World Class non-pillow hybrid (13"), though I really liked that cushion top and I normally find foam beds too hot so was uncertain. I admit the first couple nights I wasn't sold but by night 3 I was sleeping like a baby again and wasn't hot. Because the mattress is 1/3 foam, it is heavier than my old mattress.. David89. Very happy with this mattress so far. Have sept on it two nights since I set it up. It is very comfortable. Just firm enough. It arrived in a torn up box during a snowstorm, but the mattress itself was well wrapped in plastic. It was VERY heavy. Husband and I were unable to get it upstairs without having to call in the help of our strong son. We let it expand for 24 hours before sleeping on it. So far so good!. Margaret. Rowley, MA. After months of searching, and trying several beds in a box we were so so happy to finally find a mattress that is firm enough to support, soft enough to conform, without sinking in or feeling stuck in it. We’ve only had the bed a couple months but experiencing no dipping or sagging, and the transfer of motion I felt in every box bed from partner getting up to go to the bathroom has diminished significantly. Phenomenal mattress. It is actually firm, but not so firm that it feels like you are sleeping on a board. The edge is firm enough that you can comfortably sit on it, and the mattress does not sag or deflect when another person sits on it or rolls over. 10in is just the right height for finding sheets that fit and not being to high off the ground. Made in USA is a bonus. The mattress was ready for sleeping within an hour, but reached its peak firmness and size a day or two later (not enough to notice an appreciable difference). Highly recommend. Save the box in case you ever have to move. With a mattress vacuum bag, these can be recompressed and refolded to making moving and storage easier.. Steven. Alameda, CA.
