The Y-Latch is a swing latch that provides adjustability to your gate. Designed to work with aluminum gates and is composed of steel, so it will withstand the most extreme weather conditions. This latch is is lockable in two places for extra security and works with 2" posts and 2" uprights.

This Y-latch is just what I was looking for, it is a little bigger then i needed, but it won't work with my gate. the space between the gate and the post is too small. I think you need at least 2in. What a great handrail which I need as I have no balance and need it for going up and down the front steps to feel safe. I included a photo of it put together and will add another of it installed as soon as the weather here in NY gets warmer and the snow stops flying.
