I really wanted to give this mattress pad a 5 star review. It fluffed up nicely after washing, stays in place on the mattress, and provides a significant amount of softness to my bed. This product imparts a greater gloss than Marmoleum has out of the box. I'd call it satin. We like the shine. Since it is a Forbo product it should be the most compatible treatment available. The instructions say it both cleans and shines though it makes sense to thoroughly sweep then clean the floor with mild detergent and water or the Forbo cleaner first.
