Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It can be used on its own or attached to cover a chain link fence for added beauty and privacy. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. Due to the natural material used, the color will vary and may not look exactly like the photos shown. These fences are not solid, and you WILL be able to see through them.

This worked absolutely perfect for my purposes! I did have to hire somebody to install them for me. They are heavy when they come in the role so it does take two people to attach it to the fence. It does take some time, but the process isn’t overly complicated if you’re patient and organized. A couple of helpful notes from our experience since we installed this near a chlorinated pool, we chose to use stainless steel anchors instead of the ones provided for better long-term durability. Also, measuring for anchor placement requires precision—there’s very little room for error. What worked well for us was assembling the top rail (the horizontal support connecting the three vertical posts) first, then standing the structure upright. This allowed us to accurately mark all 12 anchor holes before drilling. We did run into a manufacturing issue after unboxing (not related to shipping), but customer service was excellent. The replacement process was smooth and handled quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall, we’re very pleased with the final product—both in function and aesthetics. Well the shed is great but the team sent out to install it were not even familiar with how to put together a shed. They said that they don't even get told what they're going to build just to bring tools and show up somewhere. I was very disappointed. They didn't even get to finish that day but I didn't want them to come back because they wouldn't be paid to come back an extra day.
