This handrail returns to the wall at a 90 degree angle on both ends to comply to ada wall return requirements. The handrail is made from 1.5” round aluminum stock tube to allow for comfortable daily use. The endcaps are machined from aluminum for an elegant return that protects your wall. The distance projection from the face of the handrail to the wall when installed is approximately 3.75 inches. High strength construction meets load requirements of 200lbs or more. the handrails are just what i needed for added safety to my steps... however i thought i was getting a complete set of two when i should of read 2 pieces. my fault...however these are nice and will be ordering one for the other side. i havent gotten it installed yet......
