Great bird feeder better than last one. Almost identical except where birds sit on perch. It’s made of metal which is better than plastic which squirrels chewed off.. Walter. Saint Clair Shores, MI. Sat May 11 2024

When a squirrel climbs onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down, closing access to the suet cakes. Squirrels and large birds are foiled but not harmed in any way.

This rugged, all-metal squirrel-proof feeder has a counterbalance perch adjustable to three positions to allow light, medium, or heavy birds on the perch. Built to Last in Any Season: Constructed with a full metal body and a thick, powder-coated finish, this feeder is engineered for superior weather resistance. It stands strong against rain, snow, and harsh sun without rusting, ensuring years of reliable use in your garden.

VERY pleased with this feeder. It's the third one I've tried over the last few years - first one I've bought from Wayfair. I really like the color and the design allows so many more birds to feed at a time without having "bird fights". Best of all, it has finally defeated the squirrel that has been eating all the seed ... the cage design makes it easy for the birds and almost impossible for the squirrel. It's become a neighborhood attraction. Love it.. Elin. Los Angeles, CA. Mon Aug 03 2026
