They are very orange and I was expecting a medium to dark brown. I went to process the return online but it wanted to charge me $100. I called customer service and asked them to please waive the charge for my return since the product was drastically different from what is advertised and they honored it. I wouldn’t suggest this product but will continue to purchase from wayfair because of my positive experience. Nice counter stool. Unfortunately the color of stool I received is darker than presented in the picture. I searched several different styles in cream or light colors which I like a lot more but I do love the shape of this stool. I wouldn't choose this dark grey if I could tell from the picture. These are good looking chairs at a reasonable price. They are lightweight but sturdy. The pillow on the back is a little smaller in overall size than the photo seems to show but it is fine. The only complaint is the low back, it makes for a sit up only chair and you will not be able to lean back in it for comfort and for sitting for long periods. Came quickly and efficiently.
