I prefer the look of pine needles, so this tree fit the bill. At 5 feet, it comes in two parts. The top half is densely furnished with branches. The bottom half is a little less so, hence the four stars instead of five. With some fluffing and judicious arrangement of branches and ornaments, I still have a beautiful tree that I am super happy with. The tree is beautiful but it will not stand upright. 2 out of the of the holes on the bracket is no good and the screws are not tightening to keep the tree upright. **Update** 5-Stars!!! The vendor sent me a new stand that makes the entire set makes sense. At first the tree seemed a little short and there was a section that I couldn’t use with the old stand. Since they sent me the new stand I was able to use all of the sections and the tree is much taller and much more breath taking. I am in love. I put some decorations on it. I want to return this tree. First, the stand isn’t sturdy enough to hold the tree upright securely. The individual branches are very thin and sparse. They will not hold an ornament without bending way down. I could not find the connections for the lights in the tree, so I couldn’t even check to see if they all work. My husband is on deployment and I couldn't get my 7ft tree down from the rafters in the garage. I didn't want another big tree so I opted for a 5ft. Theres are 2 reasons why I gave 4 stars. 1. It is definitely petite, & doesnt quite make the 5ft measurement, maybe 4'10". It's too small for my space (which is not the tree's fault since I didnt want to deal with putting away a giant tree), however it would be perfect in an entryway or a smaller room. It fluffs out nicely, there's no bald spots, it looks real, and it was a good price point. The 2nd reason for a 4 star is because there's only 1 string of lights and its not as bright as I'm used to, but that might also be because of where its at in my home.
