The spoon and spatula that come with it have a riser on the bottom so you don't have to worry about setting them down and getting dirty, they stay about a inch above where you set them down. The pans are great as well for frying up burgers, eggs, etc and the best part is that what you are cooking does not stick to the pan. I made pasta in the bigger pot, in my opinion the best part of this was the clean up. Nothing stuck to the sides, no pasta sauce caked on, was able to quickly wipe the pot clean. They are easy to clean up so no need to put them in your dishwasher. They can be cleaned out within minuets by hand. Now on to the lids, I like the grips that make it easier to hold when draining and don't burn your hands, but what I don't like is how high they are up, it takes a quite bit of storage if you leave them straight up, my solution was to turn the lids upside down so the handle is in the pot and taking up less storage space. On the other hand if you have a hanging storage system for your pots and pans this is perfect for that. I think this would make a great, house warming, wedding, birthday, Christmas, etc present.. I typically don’t use metal utensils just because it’s easier to scratch/scrape coatings off, so in doing so, this kept everything in tact well. The handles kept a warm temperature and do not get too hot to handle it. Lids fit well and keep everything inside. The size of them make it easy to stack on top of the arch other which saves room. My favorite thing about them is how easy it is to clean them! With some older pans, I have to scrub and scrub to clean them but these ones I can rinse most things off quickly and then wash easily.
