The medallion arrived on time and was well-packaged, arriving in good condition. Overall, it looks nice and should work well for my project. This makes a statement! However, it is quite heavy (about 10 pounds). I would not rely solely on adhesive caulking and would add screws to help support it. We bought a new home built in 1995 with a 18 ft foyer. The chandelier was very dated and i thought the ceiling needed some architectural interest. This square panel is large enough and is rather unique. It came with 2 corners slightly mashed but not noticeable at 18 height. Would recommend it to friends.This is the third item i have bought. I have searched for quite some time to find a ceiling medallion for my walk-in closet chandelier. Most ceiling medallions sold online are flimsy hollow plastic but this one is solid wood and is absolutely beautiful! Of course I wanted a solid plaster medallion, but those are very expensive and typically purchased from a lighting company, but this one will definitely fit the bill since it was prefinished and all we have to do is put adhesive on it and put it on the ceiling.
