It was the correct part, however it was difficult to find the correct part number. My Kohler plumbed house is 40 years old with 4 baths and 1 half bath. When I previously needed parts Kohler had faucets, toilets, etc. listed by era which made it much easier to find the correct part number. With many calls and photos sent three times I finally got the right part. If Kohler still has an era parts listing please let me know how to find it. The part worked well.. G F Cudahy. New Mexico. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools. I also used a plastic scrubbing brush to polish all the brass seating surfaces that this seals against. Good quality and works perfect the first time.. Nodrog. Colorado. Tue Dec 27 2022
