This rug has a very classic design and is very soft. It does show splotches of greybrown appearing in different areas, but I discovered it is the lay of the pile in the rug. Brushed one way, it is white and the opposite way, it shows up as what I thought were stains in this rug. It probably should be vacuumed daily, and it will likely wear for a long time. It is a bit thicker than what I had expected. It arrived rolled up covered in plastic wrap and laid flat with no bunching or creases. I do like it and the outer edging is well made.. Sharon. That being said, this is my 2nd iteration of this rug because I find the white parts get dirty, don't clean easily, and end up looking gray after awhile.
