Go rolling along with this weathervane for U.S. Army traditionalists.

It's very nice - not as bright as in photo, but little wind cups under the arrow don't spin, only the arrow spins. A little disappointing.. Debra. Barrington, NJ. Tue Jun 27 2017

From the Halls of Montezuma to the shores of Tripoli, this weathervane is a great gift for the Marine in your life.

A beautiful tribute to my late dad. Lisa. Philadelphia, PA. Sun Nov 09 2025

Just to be clear, I did not request a replacement weathervane and I did not receive one. I called Wayfair because I could not see assembly instructions or screws through the clear plastic which enclosed the pieces of the weathervane. I did not want to open the packaging in case I needed to return the item. After a short hold, I was advised that the missing items would be sent to me. I did send a photo of the unwrapped item, as requested. The next day I opened the packaging and realized that assembly of the product was actually very simple, using the picture on the website as a guide, and the only screws required were the 6 screws to attach the weathervane to the cupola, which I purchased at a local hardware store. The attachment piece was not suitable for my cupola, so a friend was able to fabricate it to fit. I am very pleased with the way the project turned out. My only suggestion would be for the supplier to include a simple 1 page print-out or a pdf on-line for assembly in the product description, as well as a note indicating that attachment screws are not included.. There can be no doubting the Stateside provenance of this all-American motorcycle. Presented against a Stars and Stripes flag which seems to bear the stains and malformations of time, this bike appears proud and resolute. There is a lot of color in this piece, which the eye must search for and discover, just as a biker discovers a love for their nation and land by exploring the roads.

Weathervanes have been looked up to for hundreds of years. Popular in Europe, weathervane is valued for the function as much as the design. Farmers, seafarers, and others would watch the weathervane to get the weather forecast by paying close attention to changes in the breathing, an indicator of bad or good weather. It is the hand-crafted fully-functional weathervane. Yes, it will still tell you if the wind is changing direction and will look great doing so.

Beautiful! Looks great on our barn.. Linda. MS. Sun Apr 13 2025
