This rug is stunning!! I’m personally happy to report that the “blush” in this rug is more of a light tan which I love and was hoping for (as I had read in previous reviews) the material and low pile is perfect for a high traffic area like our living room. The Malibu Collection is an indoor/outdoor area rug by Amber Lewis x Loloi that channels the casual modern vibe of the beach city it’s named after. The rug’s neutral-toned geometric prints are easy to match with various decor styles, while a hint of fringe adds to the breezy aesthetic. This collection is power-loomed of 100% polypropylene, which resembles natural fibers but can withstand the outdoor elements and high-traffic areas like mudrooms, playrooms, and hallways. Spot clean, vacuum, or hose off completely as needed.

The "Dove" color is in between tan and gray. I would call it taupe. I have not seen another rug like this. It seems to be made very well and I had no issues with the fringe. Normally I don't like a fringed rug (OCD) but the fringes are sewn onto a kind of wire? so they don't flop around and they don't look like they will fray. If you love jute or sisal look but don't want the smell or the shedding, it's a great alternative. My only knock is that it's very thin, but it's made for outdoors so it would be perfect for a dining room! It's in my guest bath now but I will be moving it to my kitchen. Because it's so flat, it won't be a tripping hazard and I don't think I'll have to worry about stains. I will be purchasing more in other sizes and that says a lot because I'm usually very picky about my rugs. For once I'm happily surprised, not disappointed! I hope Amber makes more of these, I want them all over my house!. Kat. SE. Wed Jun 03 2026
