I bought these Adirondack chairs to replace some wooden ones that had rotted through, and I’m so glad I went with this material instead. I love that I don’t have to worry about them rotting or deteriorating like traditional wood. The wood grain texture is also surprisingly realistic. When I first opened the box, I actually had a moment where I thought I had accidentally ordered wooden chairs again! Assembly was very easy for one person and probably took me about 20 minutes per chair. I especially appreciated how well organized everything was. The hardware and parts were clearly labeled and separated into individual packs, which made the entire process much simpler. The chairs are sturdy but still easy to fold up and open again. That’s a huge plus for us because we need to move them out of the way when mowing the lawn. Since we live in a warm climate, ours will likely stay outside and set up year round, so having something weather resistant was important. The built in cup holder is such a nice touch and really sets these apart from a lot of the other Adirondack chairs I looked at. And for a set of two, the price is hard to beat.
