Why in the world the previous owner installed white ceiling fans on a brown house is beyond me!! I hated the old fan, how dirty it was and how it didn't match the exterior of the house in any way at all. So, I stumbled upon this GREENEVER outdoor ceiling fan and knew it would be perfect! The fan was fairly easy to install (cramming the remote box into the housing without crimping wires is always the hardest part!). The ABS blades will hold up in any weather, yet don't look like plastic. The fan is totally quiet - not a sound! This gem is perfect for my bedroom. The real bonus is the quiet turning blades even at high speed which would be too much for this small space and would be just fine in a much larger room. It did not work with the dimmer switch so that had to be replaced.
