This finished Architectural Ceiling Medallion creates instant 3-dimensional detail to an otherwise boring plain ceiling. Also, a crowning Elegance to a Chandelier Installation, which is often a good time to install your selected Medallion. The item comes fully finished out of the package and is Hand Cast in a lightweight Polystyrene that will never shrink, split, or crack. Prior to Masterpiece Moldings creation of this Collection by AFD Home, the only way to have had an advanced ceiling with this level of design would have been a very expensive addition and an owner willing to take on an elaborate installation project, requiring carpenters, finishers, and in some instances even artists. One of the best parts about this item is that installation could not have been made easier, as the outer ring is created with a cabochon design allowing intermittent spaces specifically created as locations for your screws or hollow wall anchors, matching decorative caps are even provided that will cover the screw heads of your anchors and offer a complete professional looking install. Hollow wall anchors or installation screws are available at your local hardware store, as your need will vary depending on your ceiling.

Gable vents work to provide ventilation, releasing stagnant air, preventing damage from humidity, and optimizing temperature control. Gable vents are particularly useful during the summer months when hot air rises and is trapped in the attic, where it can transfer itself down through the ceiling and back into the level below, decreasing the effectiveness of air conditioning systems A gable vent is located at the attic area, commonly on the exterior wall where the two planes of a sloping roof join, forming a triangle. The gable can be any symmetrical shape, but the triangle is among the most common. Other vent shapes include rectangles, steeples, circles, and octagons. Gable vents are fitted with horizontal ventilation slats called louvers. You can add a mesh screen to be placed behind the vent. This allows air to circulate while keeping outside elements where they belong. A gable mounted ventilator helps to push air through the louvers. The ventilator removes air from the attic through the use of turbines or fans. The gable ventilator commonly requires no carpentry, as it is mounted on the interior of the wall behind the gable, however, electrical installation is required.

Crown molding has the ability to add beauty to any room. The dentil design on this one is a nice feature. The benefit of foam (EPS) crown molding is that it does not shrink. Cuts easily with a miter saw or fine-tooth blade.

Pay attention to the dimensions. This looks bigger in the photos. Otherwise, it is easy to work with and more forgiving than traditional wooden crown. We are very satisfied.. Joseph. Nacogdoches, TX. Wed Oct 07 2020

This means a simple and easy installation for you. The best part is you can make your own shapes and sizes by simply cutting the moulding piece down to size, and then butting them up to the decorative corners.

I’m very happy with the wall molding set overall. The pieces are beautiful, well made, and really helped give my walls an elegant, finished look. The quality was good and final result turned out great. I’m giving it 4 stars only because there was a slight mismatch in height between the main molding pieces and the corner pieces, which made installation a little more challenging. Other than that, everything was great and I’m very pleased with how it turned out. I would definitely recommend the set!. Sumera. Irving, TX. Thu Sep 10 2026
