Vacuum cleaners!! We can’t seem to find what works best for us. But after much frustration and research we decided on this one. So far, so good. We’ve only used it a couple of times so far so I cannot speak to longevity or reliability, but it works well. It was easy to put together. The removable parts are easy to take off and put back on. We love the 30 foot cord. On our first use, it was unbelievable how much dirt and hair it picked up. It was kind of disgusting to think our floor was that bad. Also, the two things this model has that the other models of the same series doesn’t have is the LED lights, which really seems to help and also a handheld attachment which has a rotating brush. I don’t even remember seeing that in the write up but it will be perfect for upholstery and curtains. We’re happy that we gave this brand a try. Hopefully it will prove to be dependable. No more full upright vac to get in the way of cleaning a small area. Very easy to assemble, too. Cord is longer than my older Bissell and that is a plus. Only disappointment, if any, is the extra attachments... they could be so much better... but at least this new vacuum works well with the older attachments. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner. I’m converting from an upright to a canister vacuum, so I’ve had to change my technique in how I vacuum the house. Instead of starting at one end of the room and then stepping backward to make the next path as I’ve always done with an upright, that way just doesn’t work for a few reasons, but to keep this brief, instead I now pick a section of the room to start (my rooms are small to average in size at only 1100 sq feet total), so it’s usually towards the center of the room where I position the canister vacuum and begin a starburst pattern. I keep the canister vacuum relatively in the same spot, until I am ready to begin in another section. This way there is less moving of the canister vacuum. Now the hose and handle are quite long when combined on the Kenmore canister vacuum, not to mention sturdy, so I only reposition 2 or 3 times in my smaller-size rooms, and I’m done in that room. Pros are, it gets under furniture much easier than an upright, hands down, and it is quieter. A bonus of this machine is you can control the suction, and therefore that is done with changing the speed of the motor, so if you can do light cleaning at a lower suction and not feel like your waking the entire house., The noise level drops dramatically. For me, this alone seals the deal on this cleaning machine. I also liked that all the tools are stored on the body of the vacuum and covered, so they’re not getting knocked off, and I’m not having to constantly run to the closet to dig through a bag of parts looking for the right attachment. All full size vacuums should follow Kenmore ways of thinking and designing vacuum cleaners in my opinion. Even though I found my work around in my style of vacuuming, it is a bit more difficult to carry around, a bit bulky, but I am not at all regretting my purchase of a canister vac, and I highly recommend the option pop and go bagged canister vacuum by Kenmore. I think it does just as good, if not better, of a job than vacuums two or three times higher in price. It’s built sturdy, which makes it a little heavier, but I expect it to last for many, many years. I suggest you give this vacuum a test yourself and see if you agree. Oh I almost forgot, one last thing I think you should know, it seems to pick up dog hair on hard surfaces better than upright models that I’ve vacuumed with in the past.. Thomas. Palm Springs, CA. If you live with pets and are constantly battling fur tumbleweeds and dander like I am, this vacuum is a total game changer. Let’s start with the setup—straight out of the box, assembly was super intuitive. Within minutes, I had it up and running without needing to glance at the instructions more than once. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy, and the design is sleek and modern. It doesn’t scream “pet vacuum,” which I appreciate. Performance-wise, this thing is an absolute beast. I have two cats, and their fur gets everywhere—furniture, rugs, corners, hardwood floors, you name it. This vacuum doesn’t flinch. The suction is powerful, and the tangle-free brush roll is no joke. I’ve had vacuums in the past where pet hair would wrap around the brush and kill the motor or need constant cleaning. Not here. After several uses, there was zero tangling and barely any maintenance required. That alone deserves applause. One of my favorite features is the automatic cord rewind. It sounds minor, but it’s the kind of small convenience that makes cleaning feel less like a chore. Just push a button, and the cord zips away neatly—no more winding or wrangling cords. The swivel steering makes it super agile, even around table legs and tight spaces. Plus, the edge-to-edge cleaning is legit—it picks up debris right up to the wall, so you’re not left having to go back in with a handheld. The dust cup is easy to empty, and it doesn’t make a mess.
