This is a wall register and as described. The metal is a little flimsy to take that into consideration with drilled it in. It looks nice and new and makes the other register in the room look so dirty, so will have to replace that too! Imperial "Pop-Up" floor register can be used as a conventional floor register or as an air deflector when open. Perfect to blow air from under a couch or out away from the wall.
