Beautiful and sturdy, just as pictured. Exactly the right dimensions for me, since most desks seem too shallow to house a large monitor which I plan to use. I love that the drawer is actually fairly sturdy. Assembly is also fairly straightforward. HOWEVER. If you've ever struggled with cam locks, boy are you in for a new adventure. This desk contains a hardware type that made me feel like I was taking (and failing) a dementia/fine motor test. It includes a D shaped disc that is secured by a nut, which you use the included tool to tighten. But the holes/parts these are designed for are drilled such that you can only make a 1/4 or 1/8 turn at a time. The best part is the last two of these, which you need to screw in upside down. It took me 2 hours to put the whole desk together (by myself) but at least 30 minutes of this was me dropping these pieces and cursing. Pro tip: flip the desk 90 degrees for these last two pieces. I also was pretty annoyed that after purchasing (was clearly in stock), I was notified a few days later that this desk was backordered. Surely Wayfair has the technology to keep track of inventory?
