The thick foam-padded seat and bonus pillow provide maximum comfort, making it easy to sit back and relax after a long, tiring day. This upholstered accent chair brings a warm and welcoming vibe into your living space. Assembly is required and tools are included.

The Jakeim 28" Upholstered Accent Chair is a beautiful chair once it is fully assembled, but I did run into a few challenges during the setup process. The fabric is nice and the chair has a modern design. The biggest downside was the assembly. The instructions were somewhat confusing and could be improved with clearer illustrations and more detailed steps. I found myself having to backtrack a couple of times because it wasn't always obvious which parts were supposed to go together. Another issue was attaching the legs. This is a two-person job. Trying to hold the chair steady while lining up and tightening the legs by yourself is very difficult. Having someone help made the process much easier and saved a lot of frustration. My biggest concern was where the back of the chair attaches to the seat. The hole at the top of the chair is larger than the screw that is supposed to secure it. Because of the extra space, the screw doesn't tighten as firmly as it should, leaving the chair with a slight wobble. It doesn't seem unsafe, but it is noticeable and takes away from what would otherwise be a solid piece of furniture. Despite these issues, I still like the overall appearance of the chair. It is attractive and comfortable. If the assembly instructions were clearer and the hardware fit more precisely, I would have rated it much higher. Overall, it's a nice accent chair with great style, but be prepared for a somewhat frustrating assembly process and consider having a second person available to help.. Diana Marie. Clancy, MT. ★★★★★ — This chair is fantastic This is probably one of my favorite furniture purchases lately. The chair looks even better in person and feels much more substantial than I expected. The leather-look upholstery has a thick, heavy-duty feel rather than the thin material you sometimes get on inexpensive accent furniture. The warm cognac color is also beautiful. One thing to know from the description and photos this chair does not have arms. Personally, I actually like it better that way. The armless design makes it extremely versatile and keeps it from feeling bulky, particularly in a bedroom or smaller space. It’s comfortable, roomy, and has a really nice shape. I bought it thinking it would work as a bedroom accent chair, and it is absolutely perfect for that purpose. And, well… an armless chair in the bedroom has certain practical advantages that weren’t necessarily mentioned in the product description. Beyond that, the construction feels solid and the upholstery looks far more expensive than I expected. It doesn’t feel flimsy or disposable at all. If you’re looking for an attractive bedroom chair that doesn’t take up a massive amount of visual space, this one is an excellent choice.. Danielle. Kingsley, MI. Thu Oct 01 2026
