Transform your outdoor living area into a serene retreat with this elegant 2-in-1 bench and raised garden bed. With the provided hardware, I assembled it by myself in 30 minutes. A rubber mallet and a bit driver would have cut that time in half because the tabs on the planter are a very tight fit and I'm not sure I got the screws into the bench far enough by hand - in the photo mine are on the left compared to the factory installed on the right. Not sure there's room to use a bit driver, as shown, but I'm gonna try to get them in further. Also pictured are a spot of glue on one panel and some possible mildew that both came off easily using disinfecting wipes without effecting the finish and mildew hasn't returned in the week since I built it. Also worth noting is that there are no bolts holding the bench to the planter. I'll be adding some but it does seem sturdy enough as is and offers the option to do a custom configuration if you buy more than one. Overall though, it's exactly as described and I love it!. Kara. This Costello Backless Teak Garden Bench creates a great seating spot for areas where chairs or high backbenchers aren't functional. Due to its extremely solid construction, this bench would do good in commercial environments. The seat has a slight curve for extra comfort. We also offer this bench in a 4-foot length.

Overall happy with this purchase for the price. The wood is pretty soft, so there were already some dings in the parts before assembly.
