This rug is a replacement for one I purchased from Wayfair 15 or 20 years ago. It had become slightly worn at the very edge where I sit to read but otherwise was in great condition. Let me preface this by saying I am a carpenter by trade, so maybe my expectations were a little higher than they should have been. I think these cross heads are a great product, but have a few issues. Maybe I got a “dud”, but the thing was warped/bowed like crazy. I had to manipulate the thing for about half an hour, glueing and fastening just to get it to sit somewhat flush and level. The pre-mitered corners had some issues as well. Not a flush cut, So I had to do a bit of work on it. For the price, and the convenience of not having to make it by hand..I’d say go for it! Just be sure you understand some work will have to be done to get it perfect. I also want to mention, I got a set of Pilasters from the same company, and those came out excellent! Highly recommend. Beautiful replica of a one-of-a-kind rug

I can’t figure out whether the rug had a big flaw (large black spot that looked like a rug printing error or if it was damaged during shipping. There was a hole in the plastic wrap over the area where the black ink stain was. It was so obvious, that I wonder why it was shipped that way. It’s being returned tomorrow by Fed Ex. The rug was very expensive for a machine made rug. The design wasn’t too bad, but I didn’t unwrap it due to the flaw.. Jeanine. Manzanita, OR. Tue Feb 10 2026
