I went with acacia wood patio furniture because I prefer a natural finish and the pieces to be sturdy with some weight to them. This set fit those parameters well. They blend nicely with the pool deck on my 1962 mid century modern home. My only negative comment would be the back angles on the chairs are just a tad too upright. Based upon other reviews I expected to like the set, but I've been beaming since I opened the box as the color is just...spot...on. I've only put two chairs together but wanted to share a pic lest I forget later. I don't know if this is solid teak or a laminate (seems solid), but it's a rich color you'd expect to see in a tiki bar, which is what I'm going for. I do see inconsistencies in the finish that might ultimately lead to some of the negativity that I read in some reviews.
