Even though these rugs are clearly advertised as being machine washable, which was, in fact, my primary criterion for purchase, the manufacturer's care instructions on the tag say to spot clean and never to saturate the rug! I don't see how those two instructions are even compatible! If these rugs are not machine washable, I will be returning them.
