So I was skeptical of the price, quality and engineering of this awning especially when I needed the larger 13x10 size, I was afraid it would be too flimsy but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the design and quality of this awning is very good. All the materials along with the engineering make it operate smoothly and efficiently the key is to mount it solidly and tighten all clamps so there is no movement. A bit of advice would be to not over tighten the small screws holding the two halves together they are meant to hold it together not for structural integrity. Common sense would tell you not to keep it open in a wind or heavy rain situation. My only complaint would be some of the directions get lost in the translation but the phone number they supplied was answered right away and the person on the other end was knowledgeable enough to answer all my questions. Shipping was fast. They ran out of the one I wanted, but gave me a quick and good solution. I will agree that it is very nice, but super hard to put together if only two people. I recommend 4 people to do this. My husband and I were putting it together and it took us 3 days. We argued over how pieces went and how some of them were not aligning correctly.
