The instructions were fairly easy however I initially installed the light component backwards. The light is sufficient sometimes I wish it were a little brighter. It fits in the corners pretty well, but I think one side of my living room is a little uneven, so that’s why it comes up not as flush to the wall as the other side. One remote can program both lights, but sometimes the lights aren’t synced however, I believe if you hold the remotes down, then they sync with each other. This LED Cylinder outdoor floor lamp is definitely a wonderful fun accent piece for outside. It offers sixteen different colors and is well made. I would however take it inside during high winds . I love this light. It recesses nicely into the ceiling, dims well without any flickering. Lighting temperature is adjustable, however the fixture must be removed to change.
