I purchased 2 of these magnificent lighting units. Plan on a 1-2 day job for your electrician, (2 units took 2 days). They have to reinforce your ceiling with wood between the joists. These fixtures are MAGNIFICENT!. Use only the LED dimmers listed in the installation manual to assure flicker-free dimming. A real plus is that these units use replaceable LED bulbs. Other cheaper units do not, which means on the cheaper units you toss the whole fixture. The lead crystal "pendants" on this are magical. I'm going to post photos. You can adjust the pendant cords to any length/configuration you want. These are on either side of my bed in Master Bedroom. A real show-stopper. I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. (We had a very creative electrician who came up with a solution using brass colored links from another fixture we had ordered. Otherwise, we would have had to return this fixture).. Yuko. Horizon 6.5" 3000K LED Downlight with Polycarbonate White Diffuser in White Finish. This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house.
