I just received four of these Adirondack chairs, and I couldn’t be more excited—my patio just got a serious upgrade. Assembly was surprisingly doable the first chair took me a bit (okay, a while), but by the fourth one I was basically running my own chair-building operation. Everything was clearly labeled, and there wasn’t much room for error, which I definitely appreciated. These chairs are solid—very sturdy—and they look fantastic. For reference, I’m a 58-year-old woman, 5’6”, about 160 lbs, and I was able to handle the assembly and setup myself. The boxes are on the heavier side (over 33 pounds), but manageable if you take your time (and maybe give yourself a little pep talk first). One of my favorite features is that they fold up for storage—practical and good-looking is a win in my book. I also scored free shipping through Wayfair and earned rewards as a member, which made the whole experience even better. Time will tell how this guy holds up! Assembly was a little bit of a pain, do note that you have to take tons of screws OUT upon unpacking. I though I had missing pieces. The shipping box makes it almost impossible to repack once you unpack it, so make sure you want it! Some of the panels were bent, but upon installing I realized it didn't matter, the frame aligns them and it's virtually unnoticeable. Other than that, the item feels really well made and sturdy once all together. It isn't meant to be water proof, only water resistant. It's very nice looking, and the light color is beautiful. This patio bench is made of High-density polyethylene (HDPE),which resists cracking, breaking, and peeling. It has the beautiful touch of wood, but unlike wood or PS materials cracking in dry conditions or rotting in frequent moisture, this chair stays sturdy no matter the weather (hot, rain, or snow). The color is long-lasting and won't fade or dull. They look like new, even after a few years of use! The backrest of our bench is not totally straight, a slightly tilted angle provides good support for your back.

Nice bench. I was able to put the bench together myself, but I deducted a star because it would have been easier if the pictures on the instructions were larger and clearer.
