I like the style and it definitely produces a lot of light, but I find it a cold, hospital-style light, so I will be adding a warm filter film. The photo isnt accurate -- the camera over-corrected and made it darker so the fixture would show up. We have it in a hallway and its more than enough light and was easy to install. (If you buy it and dont like the cold, white light, try a filter before you remove the light.) Overall, like and and will love it when I correct the harsh light with a filter. -). This fixture is great! The perfect size and incredibly bright. I installed it by myself, which is always a bit challenging just in terms of holding everything up while attaching wires and screwing things back together, but a couple of notes 1. The cables that adjust the height are VERY long- if you plan on using them somewhere where they need to be much shorter (like in my case) you will need to cut them which involves cutting 2 cables and 3 electric wires which you will then need to strip, splice and tape thoroughly back together. 2. The “color” adjuster is inside the fixture, so you really can’t adjust it easily- I thought I had this turned all the way to warm, but it doesn’t look like it.
