You need to be adept at interpreting exploded drawings. that said, each step is illustrated and easy to follow. this can be built by 1 person, but expect to really spent time with it over several days. The steel frame is well designed and executed. It screws together beautifully, but expect to use an impact driver for best results. Leveling and anchoring the structure are going to take a while, but DO NOT skimp on this step. your building will be stronger and less prone to damage if you do it well. 2 people are ideal for putting on the roof, but 1 person can do it when it is not windy. even a slight breeze will make the larger panels want to twist out of your grasp. Wear leather gloves while handling the roof sheets. they are very sharp edged. Here is a picture of mine with the frame completed, leveled, and anchored. All I need do is put on the roof. If you look carefully, you might discern that I fasdtened the front right upright of the carport to the gatepost. I did this for two reasons: 1, it supplys a strong fixed point to begin leveling that building side, which I rcommend because it makes leveling the other side MUCH easier. Rather than level the off-side along the length, you want to level the upright frame from the fixed side to the other. this will give you a straight, and therefore square building. I am not concerned about the gaps between the frame and the gound, because I will install "terrrace board" as a part of my new gravel driveway and parking pad.Sso ultimately it will be filled in, but with material that drains fully and quickly. use rot proof materials as the shoring under the frame where necessary.. I have owned 2 other car ports that collapsed under the weight of heavy snow. When I unboxed this carport I could see the differences, from the high quality steel square tubes big round bars and the quality of the tin for the roof. We are experiencing 30+deg weather so we have been working slowly on it. It seems to be well built and the directions are easy to follow. I got 2 of these for my animals. We made it into a chicken coop and a peacock and pigeon coop. It’s a really good size for them. We got a few rolls of hardware cloth and my husband got some 2x4’s, he put a concrete foundation so animals can’t dig in. The animals love it and so do I. This is a really heavy duty and robust storage shed. It takes a bit to put together, but that may have been because we were assembling it between a tree and our fence-line where there was just barely enough space for the shed. Overall, it was not bad to put together as the assembly process is pretty straightforward. The steel poles are very stout and strong. I really don't see the wind taking this shed anywhere, especially if you stake it down. Plenty of stakes and some concrete anchors are included. There are ratchet straps at all four corners. These straps help to tighten and cinch down the outer cover around the covers for the doors at each end. This aspect is a really nice design as it tightens the cover around the door openings to help keep out the elements. The cover material seems pretty robust and can be tightened down with a lot of tension, so even in heavy winds you won't get any flapping or movement of the cover. We bought this shed for garden tool and supply storage in our backyard. Overall, we have been really pleased with it. The package was delivered on time and the crews put it on the place that I wanted to. I did not put it up yet. The cover and the side were pretty easy to open cause they were holding with staples instead of nails. The top layer are all metal mounts hardwares and the roof top and support items. The bottom part are all the cedar woods. There are 2 packs of roof panels, they are realy heavy though. The scent from the cedar woods is fresh and relaxing. A part number was stamped on every single piece of wood, make it easy to find the right piece. Overall it is excellent, everything were put in one single package with no damaged, dents or scartches at all. I am very happy with the purchased and the item was on sales just under $3,000..
