I ordered this shade for my front door that is mostly glass. It arrived quickly and was packaged well. It doesn’t completely eliminate the ability to see outside as you can see in the picture above but filters it. This is perfect for what I needed. Price was reasonable and quality is ok. I ordered 6 of these blinds, 5 in one width and 1 in another. They arrived in 4 shipments, a few days apart. Blinds are as described, and as many reviewers noted, the hand rolling /velcro attachment straps are minorly annoying. They shed a good bit when unrolling initially, so be prepared for some clean up. As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes.
