This lamp turned out perfect for what I needed. I liked that the lampshade was whiter than it looked onscreen, and it was easy to put together. It definitely has a nice weight to it, thanks to the marble insert on the base. Overall, I think its a little overpriced... its a dupe of a high end look, but I don't think it needs to be this price as a dupe. As with a lot of 'brass' items, its a brushed on effect and on close inspection it doesn't look as good a real brass. Its fine for the purpose and it suits my dining chairs which have the same effect. I didn't love that it went on sale after I ordered but before it was delivered....grrrr! it arrives in two boxes - one with the base and the shade, and the other with the arc pole. also comes with a bulb and has a dimmer. It’s more of a reading lamp and the bulb cover is two piece but they don’t attach together so depending on how you position it, it doesn’t always sit properly you have to fix it so that the two pieces sit on each other correctly and are not dangling.. The actual product looks very nice once it’s assembled. The lampshade wasn’t what I expected, but it really looks fine. The marble base had a line on it.
