I’m converting from an upright to a canister vacuum, so I’ve had to change my technique in how I vacuum the house. Instead of starting at one end of the room and then stepping backward to make the next path as I’ve always done with an upright, that way just doesn’t work for a few reasons, but to keep this brief, instead I now pick a section of the room to start (my rooms are small to average in size at only 1100 sq feet total), so it’s usually towards the center of the room where I position the canister vacuum and begin a starburst pattern. I keep the canister vacuum relatively in the same spot, until I am ready to begin in another section. This way there is less moving of the canister vacuum. Now the hose and handle are quite long when combined on the Kenmore canister vacuum, not to mention sturdy, so I only reposition 2 or 3 times in my smaller-size rooms, and I’m done in that room. Pros are, it gets under furniture much easier than an upright, hands down, and it is quieter. A bonus of this machine is you can control the suction, and therefore that is done with changing the speed of the motor, so if you can do light cleaning at a lower suction and not feel like your waking the entire house., The noise level drops dramatically. For me, this alone seals the deal on this cleaning machine. I also liked that all the tools are stored on the body of the vacuum and covered, so they’re not getting knocked off, and I’m not having to constantly run to the closet to dig through a bag of parts looking for the right attachment. All full size vacuums should follow Kenmore ways of thinking and designing vacuum cleaners in my opinion. Even though I found my work around in my style of vacuuming, it is a bit more difficult to carry around, a bit bulky, but I am not at all regretting my purchase of a canister vac, and I highly recommend the option pop and go bagged canister vacuum by Kenmore. I think it does just as good, if not better, of a job than vacuums two or three times higher in price. It’s built sturdy, which makes it a little heavier, but I expect it to last for many, many years. I suggest you give this vacuum a test yourself and see if you agree. Oh I almost forgot, one last thing I think you should know, it seems to pick up dog hair on hard surfaces better than upright models that I’ve vacuumed with in the past.. Thomas. Palm Springs, CA. We had a friend tell us to make sure we put a towel warmer in! So glad we did! The square shape matched all our Square accessories! This particular one can be hot wired or plugged in. So mine just plugs into the wall! You do have to turn it on and off. And it usually take a minute to get warm… (it doesn’t have an emergency to hot turn off in it) so we are going to look for some kind of timer maybe to leave it plugged into. But we do enjoy it!. The vacuum was $999 on another site so I tried Wayfair. The description was confusing as to what attachments came with it and for that reason I give it 4 stars. The vacuum is perfect. I did end up buying a turbo power head from another site (having to buy a power head separately is pretty standard with these high end vacuums). Easy to install but I would recommend hard wiring it in. Have an outlet installed that is in the bottom right hand corner of where you want the towel warmer otherwise you will have 3 ft of cable sitting on the floor. I looked at reducing the length of the cable and adding a new plug but the plugs are still more bulky than the original. I ended up hardwiring it in and am very pleased with the result. I have always wanted a towel warmer- I love to take baths at night and the thought of a warm towel sounds so relaxing. This warmer is nice - it has a lot of racks and places to hang a robe but it is just so large and sticks out pretty far on the top. I actually think it’s too big for my smaller sized main bath. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own another Shark stick vacuum, but it is not a pet version, and after my first use I now see why I should've gotten the model specifically for pets. I used this on my hard surface flooring and when it detected fur and/or debris the power picked up on it's own to make sure it was gathered in a single swoop. I enjoyed having the little light because as I pushed under the cabinets in the inset space there I was able to see what was there without having to bend down or sweep it out ahead of time. The battery was easy to charge and lasted long enough for me to do my entire first floor which consists of the kitchen, living room, dining room, flex room, bathroom, bedroom, and the halls along with using the attachment on my furniture and dining chairs.
