This king-size mattress (medium firm) in a box was a good choice! The top material is a nice grey color, with a honeycomb padding which is a nice change from the old fashion white mattresses. Once fully expanded out of the box it puffed up almost completely, however I let it sit for 24 hours as instructed prior to sleeping on it. The upper layer of pillow top has a cooling feature which actually is exactly as described! I discovered this feature the first night sleeping on it. I’ve been sleeping on this 10-inch medium-plush pocket coil mattress for about 3 weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the comfort and support it provides. The medium feel is the perfect balance—soft enough to cushion pressure points, yet firm enough to keep my back properly aligned. I wake up without the usual stiffness or soreness, which is a huge plus. The pocket coils make a noticeable difference. Each coil responds individually, so there’s minimal motion transfer and the mattress contours nicely to the body without feeling too soft or saggy. The pressure relief is especially good around the shoulders and hips, making it great for side sleepers but still supportive for back sleepers too. Even though it’s only 10 inches thick, it feels solid and well-built. It expands quickly after unboxing, and there was very little odor.
