I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great! This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. In a new build this range hood makes a statement! It is flanked by 2 white upper cabinets and the tile behind the hood is white. lower cabinets are vertical grain contemporary. the Range hood is beautiful in the space, but also does a great job with the exhaust and the light is great to leave on as a night light.. Truly impressed, replaced an old kenmore which I would always question the accuracy of the cooking temperature. The new oven works like charm easy to use with the digital display.
