This product was just as described. The blue wrapping was easy to remove and did a great job of protecting the surface. Installation went well but took some time. The vent hose was very large and had to be reduced to fit properly through the ceiling. The lights illuminate the kitchen with a warm light perfect for leaving on during the night for nightime visits to the fridge. The fan is too loud even on the lowest setting. This Attractive and Versatile Range Hood looks and works perfectly in an "Under Cabinet" application or as a stand-alone "Wall Hood" (Optional Chimney sections available for ceiling heights up to 10'6"). We’ve amplified the 1000 CFM blower motor by having it factory-tested and installed for added capability, but that doesn’t mean it’s loud. When this hood is in super quiet mode, the hood is barely audible while pulling 400 CFM. The seamless 430 brushed stainless steel finish is a true testament to the fine craftsmanship that is this range hood. Our 101 model is a heavy-duty double-wall construction for extra durability. Other features include LED lights, 4 chimney extension options, blower rotation if horizontal ducting is needed, and heat lamp sockets. The heat lamp sockets are versatile as they’re a standard socket so you can use them for heat lamps, or extra auxiliary lighting depending on your personal preference. At 24 inches deep and 18 inches tall, this one is a powerhouse.
