I am very pleased with this little angel. She arrived on time and was packed well in Styrofoam. I was pleased that the figurine was a bit larger than I expected, measuring approximately 8inches tall. Upon taking her out of the packaging, she lit up. Both wings glow, and a single bright light shines just below where her hands meet. It is my observation that the center led in the center could have been placed just about a half inch higher, but the placement leads me to believe she was meant to be looked down on, because when viewing her closer to eye level, the light is rather stark. I picked up this solar angel garden statue mostly because my partner loves angel statues in our yard. For the most part, he’s actually been really happy with it. While the angel statue arrived in a soaking wet box that was falling apart to the touch from dirty blackish brown water, I was able to clean the solar angel up and the waterlogged packaging didn’t appear to damage the solar lights/lighting. The setup was about as easy as it gets. I just switched it on and left it outside, and it basically takes care of itself. After a full day of sun, the lights come on automatically at night with a vibrant glow, and they stay lit for a good chunk of the evening. My only complaint is the smaller size of the angel statue at about 9.5 inches tall. It wasn’t a deal-breaker for either me or my partner, but if you’re expecting something larger or more of a centerpiece, it might feel a bit small. The statue itself feels pretty solid and doesn’t look cheap or flimsy, and the paint job is nicely done. I’ve tested it outside through some recent rough weather in my area, and it’s held up well so far. Overall, it’s a simple but charming decoration that adds a peaceful vibe to the yard. Not overly fancy, but definitely worth it if you want something low-maintenance that looks good day and night. I could definitely see giving this as a housewarming or birthday gift.. Jon.
