I was pleasantly surprised with this desk. The piece of glass is heavy and substantial. I had feared it would be thin. It does not have a green tint to it. The wood is a lovely color. This desk is countertop height. I did not read the measurements as I assumed it was a standard desk height. I took 5 inches off each leg with a saw and it looks great. A little more work than I wanted to do but this is a solid well constructed desk. The top is preassembled you just have to assemble the legs. Very easy. The desk is great overall. I really like the finish and it’s heavy which, for me speaks to the quality of the build. It was a relatively easy process to assemble as well. Unfortunately, there were several dings in the desk that I believe resulted from being delivered by FedEx rather than the delivery company that usually delivers larger pieces of furniture. Therefore, this very large and heavy desk was delivered by one man. I honestly don’t even know how he got it up on the front porch all on his own.
