It is an all wood (no particle board) desk, so that's really great! That being said, assembly was kinda tricky. One of the holes into the legs wasn't drilled fully. And the holes attaching the tabletop to the legs in particular did not seem to align very well. I'm likely relying a little too much on gravity to keep it together. C'est la vie. This desk is countertop height. I did not read the measurements as I assumed it was a standard desk height. I took 5 inches off each leg with a saw and it looks great. A little more work than I wanted to do but this is a solid well constructed desk. The top is preassembled you just have to assemble the legs. Very easy. I was pleasantly surprised with this desk. The piece of glass is heavy and substantial. I had feared it would be thin. It does not have a green tint to it. The wood is a lovely color.
