So far so good! Wayfair always delivers my items in a timely fashion. My husband wanted this for our garage and he is assembling it now. The box arrived with some damage and thus the front "door" to the bench has a ding in it. It appears to be pretty solid and heavy though. The instructions to assemble are relatively clear, and though it's a time consuming process to put this together, it is not too hard. We love this high-performing hood. We got this to go with our new 48 inch for no double oven range. We needed the high power and it works beautifully! Just a couple of notes… The lights are not dimmable. That would’ve been a nice feature. Be sure to mount the hood low enough so that the bright lights do not distract you while cooking. But we did want four lights… Many Chimney hoods like this only offer three and did not provide the lighting that we were looking for. Several other reviews mention how loud the fan is. This is true. Even on low it’s quite loud. However, other models that we looked at that were more quiet… Were 3 to 4 times the cost. We do a lot of cooking and Are just fine turning up the music or speaking a little more loudly to one another while cooking! Ha ha! The item itself is perfect, but the delivery was very stressful. The driving did not know how to back up a truck, he hit signs on our property and almost destroyed them.
