There were a few scratches on the metal frame when I opened it, one bigger one where something had broken through the box during shipment. I needed a bed frame too much to argue it, so no experience with customer support. I put this together by myself and it would have been helpful to have a second for matching the head and foot board halves together on the center frame to not risk twisting. If you are storing things under the bed, the center support leg has a significant amount of unprotected bolt coming through to avoid. So far it is pretty stable and looks nice. Was it *really* the claimed $900 something before the Black Friday deal price of $127? Probably not. But it still provides good support, plenty of height for storage, and a decent looking headboard.. Great bed. It looks good in my teen son’s new room. Only issue was one pice was a bit bent. It was an oval when it was supposed to be a circle. We were able to bend it enough with a vice grip to get it to fit the piece that needed to go into it. I would have loved to give this bed 5 stars, but for two reasons I could not. First, the legs are not even. I followed the directions to a T and there is definitely uneven legs. The bed will work for the price. It was definitely the look I was going for however the space between the headboard and the footboard is really tight, so it is difficult getting a comforter in between.
