+Beautiful lamp. Was looking for a warm light with some character for my home office. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. -For $500 I would expect the sections of this lamp to fit properly and be the same shade of bronze (see photos). I tried unscrewing and reattaching several times but this is how it lines up. Will anyone but me notice--probably not. That doesn't mean it's okay. Antique style floor lamp shade is sturdily made of 100% real stained glass. Each shade is formed from hundreds of pieces of stained glass and welded together by soldering tin at a very high temperature. Every process is totally handmade and the color is never fade. Tiffany lamps are one of the best examples of arts and crafts decor ever produced, these ornate accessories add a sense of character and history to an otherwise modern setting.

NOT AS DESCRIBED. I chose this over many other options (several less expensive options) because of the rotary onoff switch at the top of the lamp. The lamp i received does not have this feature. It has a botton that sits on the floor that you have to step on. Idk who came up with this trend but I dont generally keep the camp wires in a place where people step. The bowl on this light is gorgeous- I got the white, which is actually a cream- I think this is what we are paying for. It's quite large, and hopefully looks good in our foyer when the electrician hangs it. Here is my beef- they stated that the rods and hardware were copper. They are not. They are dark, more of an oiled bronze. I'm picky about my metals. The copper was a deciding factor for me. I almost returned it, but decided instead to use copper gilding paste to "copperize" the metal. The picture shows the original dark rod, then my work on the rod. I did all of the metal on the lamp with the paste. Once I polish it, I'll have the look of aged copper. This is actually pretty easy to do-change the color of metals with metallic gilding pastes.. The team (everybody I have ever talked with at Perigold), has been professional, listens well, and has offered good suggestions. I love the lamp. I love everything about it. Except during shipping one of the shade glass panels was broken. And, the body of the lamp wobbles, which it is not designed to happen. Having said this disappointing news, I have set up the lamp in a corner where hopefully my cleaning crew won’t attempt to move it. This was the third attempt to make it right and I have no confidence in the delivery teams to care for the lamp in transit. The manufacturer packs it so well, I’m surprised that either the shade or the body of the lamp could possibly be damaged. Clearly, based on the care given to pack it so tightly and well to stabilize both parts, the delivery teams must have not treated the boxes with care - or said another way, they either threw the boxes or something else to cause such damage. By the way, after the second lamp was damaged I spoke with the manufacturer about it. The woman I spoke with was horrified and in fact, spoke with the man who puts this lamp together who gave assurances that their QC process is tight and no lamp leaves the manufacturing floor unless all parts are functioning as intended. They went as far as to describe their approach to crafting this beautiful lamp. It makes me sad. Thank you for being a company that cares about the products you offer. I have purchased 4 different lamps through you within the past year or two, and love them all. That this stunning lamp has been mistreated during transit is no reflection on Perigold, and after personally speaking with the manufacturer, this unfortunate situation has no reflection on them..
