The tub is very deep. The length of the tub is only 5 ft minus the large edge around the back of the tub. A tall person may find it a bit tight. All was in working order. Our only disappointment which is why I didn’t rate it five stars was it came poorly packaged. The tub was just sitting in the box, nothing to protect the corners, nothing wrapped. This was a perfect solution for my elderly father, who is a very tall and heavy man (6’4”, 225 lbs). It is a solid bench and chair with arm rests and seat back and belt which made him feel very safe and secure during his bath.
