Set up was fine . Please note that you can just plug into an electrical outlet . You do not need to “hard wire it” as the description says. It is easy. However, the unit has a defect! Overall our pond is around 2000 gallons and this filter outdid itself. It took him around an hour to remove and install the new filter.
