The range hood came well packaged and the assembly instructions were easy to follow. As we were missing a few inches to the ceiling with the included chimney component, we ordered the longer version directly from the manufacturer. Including a picture of the range hood after install, and a second picture after painting. Our only issue with the product is that it “whistles” at its lower speeds and due to slightly inconsistent suction, the metal grills were vibrating against the lower horizontal frame. I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great! This product was just as described. The blue wrapping was easy to remove and did a great job of protecting the surface. Installation went well but took some time. The vent hose was very large and had to be reduced to fit properly through the ceiling. The lights illuminate the kitchen with a warm light perfect for leaving on during the night for nightime visits to the fridge. The fan is too loud even on the lowest setting. The Energy Star® hood is quiet in operation providing better efficiency and comfort with less noise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good. Have used for 2 months now; ducted to the outside and the 300 CFM is adequate. There are three speeds to the fan and we use the highest the most. Will caution that my contractor was surprised the opening to duct out was higher than he anticipated; mentioning this for anyone doing a remodel to ensure their contractor understands this before closing up walls in case any framing needs to be adjusted.
