I do love the bed. One suggestion: I tried to get the shipping date changed before I even placed the order. You cannot change it online. So I called and was told by an associate that it could be done. It was a difficult process and in the end, the bed was delivered on the original date! We purchased 3 white ones over 2 years ago for our second home and all have held up great. They are a true white. Husband assembled all 3 himself easily. 2 Full sizes: 1 trundle and the other 1 with 2 draws storage. Also a Queen with 2 draw storage. Other side of queen is open space. All draws slide easily and hold a lot with high sides. They and the trundle free float. Have used trundle a few times. Can purchase additional draws for other side of Queen if desired. Bed feels quite sturdy and the drawers can be customized on either side - they don't attach to the bed but rather roll underneath. The base took a little extra time building with all the wooden slats being screwed together but that makes it very sturdy - no creaking at all! Beautiful wood that is probably more "orange" in person compared to the pictures. The base board looks a little different from that pictured - mine looked more like the headboard but it doesn't bother me and I'll keep it. I was happier than expected with this purchase. The painted finish is smooth and beautiful, and the wood is solid. It was super easy to assemble. It came with two sets of legs for different height options. It is a stable and sturdy piece. FYI - a standard boxspring will be visible above the side rails. Indeed I needed a couple of replacements (replaced footboard because the first one received was cracked and had to request a center support leg that was initially missing), but both Wayfair and the Manufacturer were quick to respond and ship the needed parts, so: all and all, I give this bed a 5-star rating. What I do not rate very high is the service I received from the "professional technician". Great that wasn’t too hard to assemble. I am a 52 year-old small woman and completed it myself in a few hours. The footboard has a flaw where the seam of the rectangle meets the frame. I really like the quality and look of this bed. We bought it for my sons room. Since he is now in college, it was time to get rid of the twin bed! I do agree with other reviews regarding height - we used the higher setting and I regret it - we bought a 5" standard box spring and a 12" mattress and it was really high - we ended up using a bunkee board and it was fine but I suggest when you are building it, use the lower setting - putting it together took about an hour - not difficult, just a lot of pieces.
